The Professional Certification in Administration (Principal Certification) is available through our program and fully endorsed by the State Board of Educator Certification and requires successful completion of all respective coursework and a passing score on respective state examinations.
To be recommended for certification through Texas Wesleyan University as an all-level principal, an individual must have a Master’s degree, have a valid teaching certificate, at least 2 years teaching experience, be accepted into and complete the prescribed course or study at Texas Wesleyan University, and pass the Principal State Exam (TExES 68).
