EXS 2114 - Coaching Methods Practicum
1 Credits
To provide students interested in pursing a career in coaching a 40-hour immersive practicum experience. Students will apply content knowledge learned in EXS 2314 and observe, develop, and deliver practice plans for secondary students. Students can pursue experiences in the traditional school athletics setting in middle or high school equivalent age range in the recreation or club arena. After successfully completing this course, the student will demonstrate the acquisition of coaching behaviors, knowledge, and skills necessary. This is required for all non-Physical Education Majors.
