ENG 3325 - Major British Authors
3 Credits
A survey of major British authors from the Middle Ages to the present. The course will feature intensive study of selected works in their intellectual milieu and an introduction to the genres of English literature. The number of authors may vary. Students will be expected to develop a critical vocabulary for analyzing literary works and demonstrate their understanding of the material through discussions and critical writing. The course has a research component.
Prerequisite(s): Prerequisites: ENG 1301 , ENG 1302 and 3 hours of sophomore literature.
