FNP 6328 - Research and Evidence-Informed Practice


3 Credits

Builds on student’s undergraduate research and statistics courses. Includes evaluation of both qualitative and quantitative methods of inquiry and how the results of each can be incorporated into the practice of the FNP provider in integrated health care and to improve patient population outcomes. The value of utilizing systematic reviews and meta-synthesis to inform practice are emphasized. Ethical aspects of research translation are addressed.

Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate research course.
