EDU 6384 - Fda Educa in Sci Classrm
3 Credits
This course is an overview of the foundations of education that undergirds the practice of teaching in the Science classroom. The framework for this course will be the 4-12 Science TEKS and the Teacher of Education Standards with a focus on the learning environment, planning, instruction, and professional practices. Teachers will be invited to think systematically about their own classroom practices.
Prerequisite(s): Completed undergraduate degree, admission to an approved certification program, passing score on the appropriate TExES certifying content exam and concurrent enrollment in the appropriate internship (EDU 6370 or EDU 6380 ) or practicum (EDU 6374 or EDU 6377 ) course.
Corequisite(s): Concurrent enrollment in EDU 6370 , EDU 6380 , EDU 6374 , or EDU 6377 .
