EDU 6383 - Fda Education in Math Classrm
3 Credits
This course is an overview of the foundations of education that undergirds the practice of teaching in the Science classroom. The framework for this course will be the 4-12 Mathematics TEKS and the Teacher of Education Standards with a focus on the learning environment, planning, instruction, and professional practices. Teachers will be invited to think systematically about their own classroom practices.
Prerequisite(s): Completed undergraduate degree, admission to an approved partner certification program, passing score on the appropriate TExES certifying content exam, and concurrent enrollment in the appropriate internship (EDU 6370 or EDU 6380 ) or practicum (EDU 6374 or EDU 6377 ) course.
Corequisite(s): Concurrent enrollment in the appropriate internship course EDU 6370 or EDU 6380 or practicum course EDU 6374 or EDU 6377 .
