EDU 6381 - Secondary Internship II
3 Credits
Secondary Internship I. This course is designed to provide technical assistance to students serving as teacher of record in a local school district during their second semester in the classroom within the parameters of an intern certificate for grades EC-6. The successful completion of both internship courses (EDU 6380 and EDU 6381) and a passing score on the Pedagogy and Professional Responsibilities TExES Exam (160) are required to obtain a standard teacher certificate.
Prerequisite(s): Student must take EDU 6380 . Completed undergraduate degree, admission to an approved partner certification program, obtain a position as the teacher of record at a TEA accredited school, passing score on the appropriate TExES certifying content exam(s), and successful completion of EDU 6380
