CRJ 3322 - Age of Migration


3 Credits

This course introduces you to the key notions, norms and narratives of human mobility all over the world. It engages in discussions on the commonalities and differences between various forms of spatial mobility from legal, criminological and normative perspectives. This course will further your understanding of how migrants are conceptualized, as well as why and how responses are securitized. The course will also explore the reasoning on why populations migrate in various parts of the world and the crime(s) that are associated with this demographic transition.

Prerequisite(s): Completion of CRJ 1301  or SOC 2301  required.
