COU 6334 - Community and Clinical Mental Health Adm

This course offers an overview of community mental health systems, focusing on the administrative, organizational, and clinical elements that shape effective service delivery. Students examine and evaluate policy formation, managed care, and the socio-cultural factors impacting mental health services. Emphasis is placed on understanding the complex dynamics of mental health administration within community settings toprepare students for leadership roles in clinical and community mental health environments.

Prerequisite(s): Student must take 9 hours of Counseling courses.
