ATR 4240 - Organization & Admin in Sports Medicine
2 Credits
This course is a study of concepts and application to the management of sports medicine programs. Special emphasis is placed on clinical ethics and conflict resolution strategies, facility design, budgeting, and insurance. The course will cover the knowledge and skills competencies and foundational behaviors of professional practice necessary for effective performance as an entry-level certified athletic trainer as prescribed by the most recent edition of the National Athletic Trainers’ Athletic “Training Educational Competencies”.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to clinical phase of Athletic Training program.
