Office of the Provost and Senior VP

The Provost and Senior Vice President serves as the chief academic officer at the University. As such, the Provost acts on recommendations from the deans and directors regarding matters of academic policy, student petitions, and other matters affecting the academic lives of the students of the University. Questions concerning issues of academic policy should be directed to the Office of the Provost. Students seeking counsel on specific academic programs or seeking to address issues affecting their program should consult with the dean of the school in which they are enrolled. All petitions for readmission to the University or other exceptions to the policies stated in this catalog must be considered by the dean of the school before being submitted to the Office of the Provost for final determination.
