COU 6331 - Psychopharmacology

3 Credits

This course is a study of neurology, brain-behavioral relationships, diseases, injuries, and psychopharmacology. The effects of psychotropic drugs on individuals are examined, counseling treatments are developed, and an overview of medications, their intended clinical uses, side­ effects, and hazards for the mental health counselor are explored.

Prerequisite(s): COU 6301  or 6311, 6310
