The study of carbon compound, their structure, nomenclature, and stereochemistry, with application to acid/base chemistry of organic compounds and an introduction to the structure/function of biomolecules. 150 minutes of lecture and 180 minutes of laboratory per week.

Prerequisite(s): CHE 1416 with a grade of C, P or better
