Non-Degree Seeking Students (D.N.P. & F.N.P.)


Non-Degree Seeking Students

A non-degree seeking student is defined as a student holding an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution with a 3.0 undergraduate GPA in the last 60 hours. The student may enroll in only selected courses at Texas Wesleyan University and is not eligible for financial aid. Up to 12 credit hours of graduate coursework may be applied to a graduate degree at Texas Wesleyan University. A student who seeks enrollment as a non-degree seeking student must apply to the University and request approval from the Director of Graduate Programs in Nursing Practice.

Non-degree seeking students may enroll in the following courses on a space available basis.

  • Nurse Coaching
  • Family Systems
  • Advanced Pathophysiology
  • Advanced Pharmacotherapeutics
